Jessica Hoppe

We’re proud to recognize Jessica Hoppe for her passion for fighting lung disease and desire to volunteer!

During National COPD Awareness Month, November, Jessica helped the Lung Association to create awareness about the third leading cause of death through media placements and grassroots outreach.

Her Letter to the Editor was printed in both the Fargo Forum and the Alexandria Echo Press and she represented the Lung Association at a health fair to share smoking cessation materials and her personal experience with lung disease. You may have even heard Jessica on the radio when she spoke during a live radio remote on Froggy 99.9.  As a Local Leadership Board Member, Jessica helps to shape the future of our organization and to raise funds for the Fight for Air.

As her father fights emphysema, Jessica uses service to focus her emotions with the hopes of preventing at least one other from experiencing what her family is going through and to provide hope for her father.

Thank you for all your support Jessica, we’re proud to have a volunteer like you!
