Jessica Hoppe to Join American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest Board of Directors

(August 24, 2012)

Fargo, ND – Jessica Hoppe, Relationship Manager for Alerus Financial in Fargo, ND, has joined the American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest Board, effective July 1, 2012. Hoppe is new to the Lung Association, but painfully close to the impact of lung disease, as her father suffers from COPD and waits for a lung transplant.

“Our organization is truly fortunate to have Jessica’s expertise, strategic thinking and passion for our work. With her participation at the board level, she will help us move forward with our lifesaving mission in a significant way. I’m so pleased Jessica has agreed to serve at this level.” said Harold Wimmer, President and CEO of the American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest.

Hoppe is deeply involved in her community as a volunteer and leader.  She has long been connected to the United Way, holding positions as campaign co-chair, loaned executive and investment review panelist. Hoppe also works with Plains Art Museum in various committee and board capacities.
