Partnership for Asthma Action
Partners for Asthma Action is a community collaborative in the Twin Cities to improve the health and quality of care for children (0-18 yrs). Throughout the cities, the project has 15 different interventions with broad scope to make an impact in the lives of kids with asthma. The Project began in 2001 to provide leadership, direction, and infrastructure to address the needs of children with asthma and their families. The Project strives to bring a multi-disciplinary approach to asthma, actively seeking out opportunities for partnerships and linking people together. Visit Partners for Asthma Action website.
Controlling Asthma Project Gets Published
The American Lung Association in Minnesota and Partners for Asthma Action (formerly Controlling Asthma Project) is please to share two peer-reviewed journal articles based on the eight year Controlling Asthma in American Cities Project. These areticles were release in the CDC-led February 2011 edition of the Jounral of Urban Health.

Spirometry Trainings
The American Lung Association in Minnesota in partnership with the Minnesota COPD Coalition is hosting a Spirometry webinar series. These webinars are available at no charge and will be on a variety of topics. The kick-off of the series was held on the first World Spirometry Day on October 14, 2010.
