Day at the Capitol: Fight Back Against the Tobacco Industry

This is a FREE event. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided along with transportation to and from the Capitol.

Hundreds will gather at the Capitol to speak with lawmakers on tobacco related issues. Register today and let your voice be heard!

  • Learn how to be an effective advocate
  • Meet with your lawmakers
  • Rally in the Rotunda

The morning will consist of training and inspiration at the:

Minnesota History Center
345 Kellogg Blvd. West
St. Paul, MN

This will be followed by lunch and a rally in the Rotunda at the Capitol.

In the afternoon we will meet with lawmakers at the Capitol and urge them to:

  • Significantly increase the price of all tobacco products
  • Treat "little cigars" like cigarettes to protect kids
  • Protect the Freedom to Breathe Act - our statewide smoke-free workplace law

Transportation from Duluth, Grand Rapids and Virginia options available.
