Did you know that approximately 13,000 children and 30,000 adults in Sedgwick County have been diagnosed with asthma? There are 13 million Americans diagnosed with COPD and an estimated 92,000 are in Kansas alone. Do you have allergies or lingering respiratory issues? Here’s a great opportunity to find out what respiratory disease is and what you can do about it for yourself or for family members. Did you know that activities can improve quality of life for respiratory patients? Would you like to be a volunteer for the American Lung Association?

Join us for a free evening event will include a presentation by Dr. John Flesher, along with life changing stories from individuals from our community.

Door prizes, snacks and informational resources from local wellness vendors from our community will be provided.

You will get answers to questions about lung disease to recognize or better manage the disease. This widespread disease touches almost everyone some way in our community. Isn’t it time you found out what you can do?
