Wendy Webb

Wendy Webb became involved with the American Lung Association Fight For Air Climb to honor her father who passed away from lung cancer. Wendy’s father was a very healthy man so when he was having trouble breathing they immediately went to the doctor and was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. He had to have surgery to place a permanent tube in his lungs and had to start chemotherapy both to alleviate some of the fluid from building in his lungs.

Wendy’s first participated in the Fight for Air Climb in 2013 with other members from her gym, R Studio. She raised nearly $300. She registered again for the 2014 Climb and blew us away!. She donated her time-coming into the ALA office to speak with other Climb participants, sharing her story and her excitement. She also raised a whopping $2,179!!

Wendy – we are so thankful for you and all that you do to help the American Lung Association. Keep up the great work, we are excited to see what you accomplish in the 2015 Fight for Air Climb!
