New Fiscal Year Brings Changes to American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest Board of Directors

 Iowa volunteers plays key role

Chicago, IL - The American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest has named Alan D. Rowe, Associate Vice-President, Institutional Effectiveness for Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, its Board Chair. Rowe has been involved with the Lung Association for over 23 years as a national and state board member and frequent spokesperson for tobacco-free campus policy. The Upper Midwest Board also welcomes new board member, Connie Perry, Regional Director of Business Development for Iowa Hospice.

Additionally, to honor his years of service, The American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest has named a research award in honor of retiring board member Roger Kuhle: The Roger J. Kuhle Lung Cancer Discovery Research Award.
