Jerry Schwaller
We’re proud to put Jerry Schwaller in the spotlight for his support of our Fight for Air Walk as Family Recruitment Chair!
Jerry’s position is crucial to the success of our Walk. His duties include recruitment of past family and friend teams, building awareness and excitement around the Fight for Air Walk, and participating on event day.
“I’m honored to Chair the Fight for Air Walk,” explains Schwaller. “I’ve always wanted to get more involved in the American Lung Association and I think this is the perfect opportunity to grow an event that my family enjoys every year.”
Schwaller has seen the benefits of the American Lung Association in Iowa at work first hand. When he was young, he spent countless hours in the ER, visiting doctors and missing school because of his asthma. He got involved with the American Lung Association so that his children, who also suffer from asthma, could breathe easier and have a healthier future.
