Indianapolis Fight For Air Climb raises $165,000!

(March 14, 2011)

IN Climbers On Saturday, March 12th, more than 450 participants came to One Indiana Square for our 2011 Fight For Air Climb.  They scaled the tower one, two or three times for a total of 35, 70, or 105 floors and climbed 768, 1,536 or 2,304 stairs respectively.

Together they raised an amazing $165,000 for the Fight For Air and wowed us with their stories of perseverance and hope as they climbed in memory or in honor of loved ones or as a personal physical challenge or fitness goal.

THANK YOU to all our climbers, sponsors, donors and volunteers for making this year’s climb such a success.  We exceeded our fundraising goal of $117,000 and can’t believe the generosity of all those involved.  This amazing feat would not have been possible without your help and we thank you, not only for fundraising, but for helping to raise awareness about the importance of our cause.

If you have pictures you’d like to share, please post them on our Facebook page at facebook.com/LungAssociationIN or tag us on twitter with the hashtag #FightForAirIN @ALAIndiana.

Missed the climb? Participate in our Fight For Air Walk on Saturday, June 11th at Butler University.
