Irini Boeder

American Lung Association Auxiliary Board Chair

Meet Irini Boeder, a young professional truly impacting the American Lung Association’s Fight for Air! Irini’s connection with the American Lung Association began almost three years ago, through the inaugural Fight for Air Climb at Presidential Towers. As member of the event committee, Irini played a key role in establishing the event, securing sponsorship and recruiting participants.

Always leading by example, Irini has been captain of a corporate Fight for Air Climb team. This team, from Waterton Residential, has stepped up in a big way over the past two years, raising nearly $10,000!

This spring, Irini furthered her commitment to our organization by serving as a founding member of the American Lung Association’s Auxiliary Board (ALAAB). Irini’s enthusiasm, talent and natural leadership led her peers to elect her Board Chair.

In a very short time, the ALAAB has made great progress in engaging young community leaders. Irini’s vision and leadership have led to social, networking and volunteer events that build awareness around the importance of healthy lungs and healthy air.

Thank you, Irini, for demonstrating the great impact that volunteering can make!
