“Go to Bat” for the American Lung Association this Summer
(July 13, 2011)—

Hey sports fans and gaming gurus - we need your help!
The American Lung Association is participating in the 2011 Go To Bat campaign in partnership with the MLB and State Farm. Our supporters can visit www.statefarm.com/gotobat, select the American Lung Association and play the State Farm Go to Bat game to increase the batting average and score points for the Lung Association. Players can log on and play up to three times a day to better the Lung Association’s chance for a winning batting average. Will you help us increase our average?
The “Go to Bat” program runs for 10 weeks, ending on September 26. The charity with the best batting average at the end of each week will be awarded an $18,000 donation from State Farm. At the end of the 10 week program, the charity with the highest cumulative score will receive a $25,000 donation from State Farm. Additionally one random player from each winning team will have a chance to win a trip for two to games 3 and 4 of the 2011 MLB World Series!
Be sure to visit www.statefarm.com/gotobat and post the Go to Bat website link on your Facebook page. We appreciate your help - batter up!
