Credit Cards, Check Cards and Checking Accounts generate contributions to help prevent lung disease
Washington, D.C. (May 5, 2010)—
The American Lung Association and Bank of America today announced new credit card, check card and checking account products that help support the American Lung's Association mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.
Bank of America will make a contribution to the American Lung Association for each new credit card, check card or checking account opened. In addition, every time a consumer uses the credit or check card to make a purchase, Bank of America will contribute a percentage to the American Lung Association.
"The American Lung Association partnership with Bank of America is a great opportunity to raise awareness of our organization and for our supporters to show off their loyalty," said Charles D. Connor, American Lung Association President and CEO. The American Lung Association Visa® credit card and personal checking account are currently being offered at more than 6,000 Bank of America banking centers and through bankofamerica.com.
"Bank of America is proud to support causes that are important to our customers," said Bank of America Affinity Card & Banking executive Andres de Armas.
