The American Lung Association in Florida's Asthma Educator Institute is a two-day workshop for individuals wanting to improve their ability to provide asthma education for patients and families with asthma. It is expected that many of these individuals will go on to take the certified asthma educator exam offered by NAECB and become certified asthma educators.

Freedom From Smoking® Facilitator Training

Freedom From Smoking is the American Lung Association's research-based eight week smoking cessation clinic, developed from the underlying premise that smoking is a learned behavior. Under your guidance, participants will develop a personalized, step-by-step plan for quitting smoking. The clinic's group interaction also provides support and understanding.

 This program program provides 10 contact hours of CEU's for nursing and Respiratory Therapists. CE Broker #20-13741

Pulmonary Care Symposium

This program is developed to present current information on the basic concepts and new developments and techniques in medications, diagnosis and management of adults and children with respiratory diseases. This program will be approved for nurses and respiratory care personnel licensed in the State of Florida.
