Lungs 4 Life
Lungs 4 Life, a tobacco use prevention program, is delivered to nearly 15,000 middle and high school students in Palm Beach County each year. The program uses videos, images and music to deliver important information about the anatomy and physiology of the respiratory system, the dangers of tobacco use and addiction, and the risks involved in the abuse of inhalants, marijuana and other illegal drugs. All information is consistently researched and updated.
Endorsed by the Palm Beach County School District, Lungs 4 Life has received feedback from teachers and students that includes both praise for the program and commitments that the participants will never smoke or will try to quit. The American Lung Association provides this compelling educational program to students in Palm Beach County through the generous support of the Quantum Foundation.
