About Us

Mission Statement
The mission of the American Lung Association is to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.

The American Lung Association in Colorado offers practical help to people living with asthma, emphysema and other lung diseases. We also confront lung disease at the root level, educating kids about the dangers of smoking, pushing for more smoke-free workplaces and even working to reduce air pollution.

Walking Our Talk
Here's a few things we do at our office to show our commitment to clean air and lung health. We encourage you to consider doing the same at your home or office.

ECO Pass We provide RTD Eco Passes and monetary reimbursement for employees who use alternative transportation.
Girls with Turbine Our building is powered with wind energy credits from Renewable Choice Energy.
EV Charging Station We have installed a public electric vehicle charging station in the parking lot of our office in Greenwood Village. Several American Lung Association employees drive an electric vehicle and use the station while at work. Learn more about alternative fuel vehicles here.
Honda Wrap Our company vehicle is a Honda Civic powered by compressed natural gas.

We have also implemented telecommuting policies, and we are the proud winners of the Bike to Work Day Business Challenge - Class A in Arapahoe County, for seven years in a row!
