SAVE TAXES AND HELP SOMEONE WITH LUNG DISEASE

reply card heading

Act now to save taxes!

The Individual Retirement Account (IRA) charitable rollover is back for 2013. As part of the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012, Congress has reinstated the most tax-effective way to make a meaningful gift to charity.

If you are 70 ½ or older, the IRA charitable rollover legislation allows you to transfer gifts up to $100,000 from your individual retirement account directly to a qualified charity, such as the American Lung Association in California.

Charitable rollovers can be made up to December 31, 2013 for the calendar year of 2013. Take advantage of this opportunity to save taxes while helping the American Lung Association in California save lives.

For more information on the Charitable IRA Rollover, please contact Jan Cortez, Senior Director, Major Gifts, and American Lung Association in California at 619-683-8646 or Jan.Cortez@lung.org.
