The American Lung Association Lung HelpLine (1-800-LUNG-USA) provides FREE comprehensive lung health assistance, information, disease counseling, and a proactive tobacco cessation program to improve the health of individuals with lung disease.

It is our mission to provide detailed and accurate answers about lung cancer, COPD, asthma, influenza, smoking cessation, environmental health, and much more.

Information discussed over our toll free Lung HelpLine is kept private and confidential. Calls are answered live by registered nurses, respiratory therapists, and tobacco cessation specialists, and are unlimited in duration and frequency according to each caller's needs. The Lung HelpLine also have the ability to provide information translations in 150 different languages.
