CrossFit is an elite fitness program for many police academies, military units, hundreds of professional athletes, and everyday moms and dads. It is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience.

The Fight For Air Climb is a unique fundraising event for the American Lung Association in California. Usually called a “vertical challenge,” Fight For Air Climb is the premier event where individuals and teams walk or stride up more than one thousand stairs to reach the top of some of the tallest buildings in the state. The Fight For Air Climb takes place in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Sacramento, and San Diego. To learn more about the event, visit www.FightForAirClimb.org.

Events including the Fight For Air Climb allow the American Lung Association in California to help continue to fund research to find a cure as well as provide education and support to those suffering from lung disease. Lung disease is the third leading cause of death in the United States, and is responsible for one in seven deaths nationwide. Lung cancer is the nation’s leading cause of cancer deaths in both men and women, killing more people than breast, colorectal prostate, and pancreatic cancers combined.  Lung disease is particularly prevalent in California.  Ninety percent of Californians live in areas with unhealthy air, contributing to breathing problems for the nearly five million of our state’s citizens afflicted with asthma, including nearly one million children.
