Special Events/Office Assistant –  (Tucson, AZ) Part-Time

The Special Events/Office Assistant is a part-time non-exempt position that offers up to 20 hours per week and will report directly to the Executive Director in the Tucson office.  This position is responsible for assisting with the logistics and execution of the annual fundraising events and varied clerical work such as database input, file maintenance, and responding to inquiries for the general office.  As first point of contact with donors, volunteers, vendors, and more a courteous and professional manner and appearance is expected and required.  Must be able to work collaboratively with other staff as well as work independently.   At least two years of professional fund-raising or specific administrative related experience is required.  Ability to communicate the organization mission and convey its urgency is a must.  Bi-lingual skills in English/Spanish a plus.  Some evening and weekend hours required.  Must have reliable transportation. Knowledge of telephone systems, copiers, and Microsoft computer software products is necessary.  Non-Smoker.      EOE
