Summary:

The Manager, Clean Vehicles &Fuels Technologies manages the development and implementation of American Lung Association in Wisconsin Clean Fuels and Vehicle Technologies Program (CFVTP).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage work plans for activities related to the Wisconsin Clean Fuels and Vehicle Technologies Program (CFVTP).
  • Develop and implement educational and marketing materials for the program
  • Attend and represent ALAUM at industry events including, but not limited to trade shows, fairs, expos, and other educational opportunities
  • Serve as media and community spokesperson for CFVTP; generate earned media surrounding events and program activities
  • Cultivate partnerships and relationships in related industry, non-profit and governmental organizations
  • Assist in development and implementation of program components
  • Maintain appropriate records and databases for all activities.  Produce and distribute event summaries
  • Maintain appropriate records and filing system for each activity including quarterly and annual finalized report for partners/funder.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Communications preferred
  • Three to five related work experience required
  • Background in environmental and/or agricultural science preferred
  • Experience in non-profit organizations preferred
  • Demonstrated success in planning, hosting, and managing events
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including public speaking, press conf. appearances, etc.
  • Ability to work with various partnerships
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends hours on an as needed basis
  • Superb organizational skill and attention to detail
  • Computer literate:  Microsoft Office Suite knowledge; Adobe InDesign Creative Suite preferred; use of Social Media websites experience

Other Requirements:

  • Hold valid driver's license and be able/willing to attend events as requested. (Travel/mileage reimbursed according to ALAUM policy).
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs. (event supplies).
