The American Lung Association of the Southeast serves Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina. We are part of the American Lung Association, the oldest voluntary health agency in the U.S.

Our focus today is on healthy air, tobacco control and all lung disease, including asthma and COPD. Our mission is to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease and we do that through education, research and advocacy.

Carrie's Story

My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in April 2009. She was a life-long non-smoker. So many people are not aware that a non-smoker can also be a victim to this terrible disease.
