At the American Lung Association we are very proud of our fiscal responsibility. Here in the Plains-Gulf Region, 70 cents of every dollar donated supports our mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. Throughout our history, the American Lung Association has been a steadfast steward of public contributions. Without the help of our constituents, we would not be able to make the progress that we do in the fight for air. Donors can be assured that we appreciate each and every gift. The American Lung Association of the Plains-Gulf Region’s fiscal year is from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011. Financial statements are presented in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and combine all parts of the organization in one statement.

Yearly Audit

American Lung Association of the Plains-Gulf Region is audited on a yearly basis by a firm chosen by the Board of Directors.

IRS Form 990

The IRS Form 990 is an annual federal income tax return that all charitable corporations that are exempt from income tax are required to file. These statements are presented in accordance with IRS regulations. American Lung Association of the Plains-Gulf Region files Form 990 yearly in accordance with IRS regulations.
