The Beckwiths

Matthew, Calvin, and Quinn Beckwith created the Skeeter Cup Junior Golf Tournament to honor a family friend who passed away from COPD in 2007. The boys, just young teenagers at the time, wanted to find a way to honor "Skeets," his passion for golf, and support the American Lung Association at the same time. From actively recruiting junior golfers to be a part of the tournament to conjuring up community support, all three of the Beckwith boys get their hands dirty to make the event a success. Since its inception in 2009, the Skeeter Cup has raised more than $10,000 to benefit the American Lung Association of the Northeast.
