Heidi Hales

Heidi has been a volunteer with the American Lung Association for many years starting with her involvement in the Vermont Asthma Walk. She captained a team from the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation Air Pollution Control Division. Heidi took the time to create posters on air quality and lung health designed to educate walkers as they navigated the course. She has served on the Planning Committee for the Snowshoe Shuffle for the last three years. As a snowshoe and trail runner, she helped plan the logistics and the design the course that walkers and runners enjoy. As an expert on air quality, Heidi additionally visits her local Better Breathers' Club to share her knowledge with lung disease patients.
