National Volunteer Appreciation Week 2013

2011 Vol Week

April 21-27 is National Volunteer Appreciation Week. We at the American Lung Association of the Northeast value our volunteers, with whose help we are able to generate awareness and support of our special events, advocacy and health promotion to carry out our mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. From retirees to working professionals, or students looking to give back to the community, our volunteers use their strengths and skills to help out in countless ways. We would like to take the time to spotlight volunteers from the many different areas of the American Lung Association. Additional volunteers will also be recognized on Facebook and Twitter, in hometown newspapers and in person.

We love our volunteers! See if you can find yourself in our 2013 slideshow:
