Karen Conway

Karen Conway has been involved with the American Lung Association for 19 years. She serves on the CT Leadership Board and is the current Board President.  She has also served on the Public Policy Committee and Gala Committee.  Each year Karen captains a climb team for the Fight for Air Climb Hartford. She originally became involved with the ALA as a way to give back to the community and as a  way to indirectly help her husband's patients.  Karen's husband is a pulmonologist at Hartford Hospital and she works to get both the hospital and her husband's practice involved in supporting the American Lung Association as well.

Karen Conway is counsel in Bershtein, Volpe & McKeon’s Health Law Group, where she represents a variety of health care providers, including hospitals, PHOs, physicians, physician groups, and ambulatorysurgical centers.

Prior to her legal career, Ms. Conway had extensive experience in the medical field, where she worked in the areas of radiology, medical office administration, and urgent care.

Karen is a member of the American and Connecticut Health Lawyers Associations, a member of the American and Connecticut Bar Associations and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.  Ms. Conway is admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut.
