Geri Bernacki, MHA, RRT

Geri Bernacki has been a devoted volunteer to the American lung Association for more than 20 years.  Geri is a well-respected respiratory therapist and health educator.  She is Clinical Education/Department Coordinator for Respiratory Care at Bridgeport Hospital, and president of the board for the Connecticut Society for Respiratory care.  As a member of the COPD Symposium advisory committee, she has secured the venue, food, and speakers for the program.  Geri has volunteered to be one of our Asthma Educator institute speakers.  She has also been involved in curriculum development, fundraising events and volunteer efforts.  Her knowledge of lung disease goes far beyond the professional realm-she has lost two family members to lung disease.  Geri is known throughout the American Lung Association for her willingness to lend a helping hand, her expertise and her experience.
