The American Lung Association in New York is a member of the NYC Coalition for a Smoke-Free City, with whom we work on education, advocacy and communication efforts. Together with other organizations and stakeholders, the Coalition supports community-based efforts for effective and long term change throughout NYC and works to advance the NYC Tobacco Control agenda in three areas:
• Expansion of smoke-free air, including smokefree parks and smokefree housing.
• Reducing youth exposure to tobacco industry marketing and product access
• Increasing the price of tobacco products
