The Worcester Pulmonary Symposium is held annually in March in Worcester, Massachusetts, and offers a high quality health professional program for Respiratory Therapists, Pulmonologists, Nurses and all health professionals with an interest in pulmonary medicine and respiratory health. The meeting was first established and carefully developed over many years by Ronald J. Dorris, MD.  Now, over 20 years later, the program continues to thrive in the hands of an expert interdisciplinary planning team comprising of Peter H. Bagley, MD,  UMass Memorial Medical Center, Richard Rosiello, MD, Worcester Medical Center and Donald Bellerive, RRT, UMass Memorial Medical Center.

Pre-Registration on or before Friday, February 13, is $60 per person (or $25 for Fellows and Students). All Registrations after February 13 will be $65. Registration fees include meeting materials, continental breakfast, refreshments and lunch as listed in the program.

Registration fees are strictly non-refundable but substitutions can be made by e-mailing details in advance to bragless@lungne.org.

Educational Objectives

At the end of the activity, learners will be able to:
• Explain both the rationale for COPD disease management and the most important components for successful management.
• Identify common pulmonary complications of critical illness stemming from neurologic disease
• Outline a number of issues related to E-cigarettes including the nicotine delivery mechanism, regulation, marketing and accessibility.
