INTENDED AUDIENCE

The annual symposium is intended for advance learners in the scientific and clinical field of adult and pediatric pulmonary and critical care medicine including pulmonologists, primary care physicians, pulmonary fellows, nurses and respiratory therapists.

GOAL

Improve manage care, patient care, knowledge and competency in new advances in the treatment of pulmonary and critical care medicine.

OBJECTIVES

  • Understand the Interventional Pulmonary approach to malignant central airway obstruction and malignant pleural effusions
  • Identify 3 conditions in indoor environments that place occupant’s health at risk
  • Understand the use of Biomarkers of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and their potential use in disease management
