Elexa Nosonchuk

My daughter, Elexa Laine Nosonchuk, was diagnosed with Bronchiolitis obliterans, a type of children's interstitial lung disease, when she was 20 after fighting with doctors who thought she was faking or had "just asthma" for 8 years. She was an intense athlete before losing most of her lung function, earning national recognition in field hockey. She wants to help others by telling her story and any other way possible. - Jane Nosonchuk
