CTS - Connecticut Thoracic Section of the American Lung Association of New England's Medical & Scientific Branch
The Connecticut Thoracic Section (CTS) was formed in 1950 as the Connecticut Trudeau Society and later became the Connecticut Thoracic Society.
The CTS provides members with professional education opportunities particularly in the areas of lung research, critical care, pulmonary rehabilitation and sleep disorders. The goal is to promote excellence in management, prevention and control of lung disease.
The CTS Annual Meeting and Scientific Sessions is held in the fall each year and is highly regarded for its quality of educational sessions and is the state’s foremost annual gathering of pulmonary, respiratory care and sleep experts.
