Brian Henn

Brian Henn, Westerville, is the proud owner of a 2013 Porsche Boxster thanks to his Hole-In-One Monday at the Fairways for Airways Buckeye Celebrity Golf Classic held at the Ohio State Golf Club on April 22.

Proceeds from the event benefit the programs and services of the American Lung Association in Ohio; former OSU great James Cotton's Buck-Icon Foundation, and Flying Horse Farms, a camp for children with chronic illnesses.

Henn won the car on the Par 3 17th hole with a 179 yard shot with a 5 iron. An employee of Century Link in Dublin, he was playing with Tany Rencher and Paul Koehler both of Safelite AutoGlass and OSU Celebrity (2009-2011) Donnie Edge.

His wife Katy is a ceertified Freedom From Smoking facilitator for the American Lung Association, a member of the event committee, and also owner of the Wellness Collective in Westerville.

Not to be overshadowed by the big moment, the event was actually won by a team headed by Celebrity Player Courtland Bullard (OSU 1999 - 2001 and St. Louis Rams 2002-2003). Bullards team consisted of Granview Heights residents Scott Ryan, Mark Schaefer, Ken Copley and Ted Bush and shot a score of 62 in a scramble format.

Henn's prize was provided by ToyBarn in Dublin. Justin Hinderer of ToyBarn, says that out of the 40 golf tournaments at which he's sponsored cards, this is the first car that has actually been won.
