Tennessee Research
(September 1, 2009)—
Medical research is a vital key to ultimate prevention, improved treatments, and cures for lung disease. The American Lung Association provides research grants to enable top quality researchers to continue their work in lung disease research. All grants are awarded on a competitive, peer-reviewed basis. The Association has invested almost $1 million in such research in Tennessee in the past decade.
