Summary:

This position reports to the Vice-President of Development and is responsible for assisting the New Jersey and Plymouth Meeting (Philadelphia surrounding area) Development Directors with volunteer leadership management, securing in-kind donations, general office duties and database management.

Responsibilities:

Fundraising/In-Kind Revenue Generation. Assist with the recruitment and organization of committees and volunteers needed to achieve individual and event goals.

Support the activities of the event committees and volunteers. Assist with all aspects of the implementation of events. Participate in the cultivation and solicitation of donors and prospects as required. Maintain smooth operation in assigned office areas

Data Management. Utilize CONVIO/ROI/Greater Giving systems to maintain databases

Qualifications:

High School Degree -Bachelors preferred.

The ability to effectively manage time and multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and respond to inquiries in a timely maner is essential. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Demonstrated effective written and oral communication. Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office. Ability to work evenings/weekends as events permit. Abililty to lift up to 25 lbs.

Entry level Fundraising, Special Events, or Public Relations experience preferred. Experience operating offic equipment such as copiers, faxes, postage machines, calculators and other office equipment as necessary. Maintain a valid driver's license.
