I moved to Atlanta, Georgia in spring of 2007, and that is when my problems began. I developed what SEEMED like seasonal allergies. However, after many sinus infections, I was tested and none of the usual allergens were a problem for me, so they termed it the catch all "allergic rhinitis," and said the only thing I could do would be to move on account that it was probably a pollutant allergy. Moving was not an option with a child still in a school she loved, so I continued to battle my illnesses with antibiotics.

However, in the fall of 2014 a routine blood test showed my liver is in distress, and since I don't fit any of the other causes for liver dysfunction, they are attributing it to the massive doses of antibiotics prescribed to me over a 7-year period.

Whenever I travel, my sinuses clear up within a few days, so I know it is Atlanta. I am now seeing a pulmonologist for lung treatment and realize that this can't continue. My husband and I may have to live in different cities, as he has a great job he loves. I am at my wits end.

Atlanta FAILS in air quality and violates the EPA standards. I wish the EPA would stand up and demand these cities get better mass transit and clean up their air. We can't continue on this way!
