National Chief Development Officer

In her 16 years with the American Lung Association, Swan has supported the mission of the American Lung Association by substantially growing the corporate sponsorships, fundraising revenue, event participation and volunteer engagement.

In her role as National Chief Development Officer, Swan works with the nation's senior leadership to continue to assess and expand the development efforts throughout the country including setting strategies for individual donor development, corporate and foundation grant seeking and sponsorship, signature special events and volunteer recruitment and engagement.

Prior to joining the American Lung Association in 1999 as Development Director for the American Lung Association in Wisconsin, Swan served as Deputy Director of Development for the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Hollywood Bowl. Swan earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and her Master of Arts degree from the University of Southern California.
