In addition, he serves on the ALA National Chairs Assembly, and the ALA National Finance Committee.
As a professional with over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry, he has seen the impact of lung disease and asthma on the community. He understands both the physical and financial impact that lung disease has on individuals and the community. On a personal level, Blumenthal has asthma himself, and is all too familiar with the challenges that it presents. This personal and professional experience with lung disease has made Blumenthal a strong advocate for the American Lung Association.
In additional to the above, Blumenthal also serves as the president of a local youth-based non-profit arts organization. This organization has brought arts education programs to Title I schools throughout the Phoenix metro area, and has donated over $100,000 to local charities through local benefit concerts.
